Just got my Super Bee together last week, in time to make to Mopar at Thunder Mountain.I did not have time to mess with the carb, until today. It is a Mighty Demon 750 with the IdleEZ feature. I can not get the IdleEZ screw to do anything. I have cranked it out as far as I feel comfortable and it will not idle. Of course tech support is closed today. Has any one seen this and if so what is the fix ? I am about ready to put my old Holley back on it. Thanks, Mark

Close the idle ease circuit and set idle like before. I have tried it in the past with no luck

Thanks, thats what I did. So far I am not impressed with this thing. It ran better with the 20 year old Holley on it.

The bg carbs are a little different than your old Holley. They use a different setup on the main circuit and usually require bigger jet numbers than your Holley. What is it doing ?

It surges pretty bad at part throttle, and I mean like hopping the front end bad. Not all the time but more often than not. And at cruise it just does not sound right seems to spit and sputter. WOT it seems to run great, and it even seems to idle ok other than the idle ease is inop.

Surging is a trait of a lean fuel mixture.

First thing I would do is pull the carb apart and clean everything out. I have seen small metal shavings in the carbs that will cause issues with performance. Check that out first.

It was puffing black smoke so I do not believe it is lean. I will take it apart and look for metal chips/shavings
