It looks like a neutral balance big block balancer, is the pulley bolt pattern symmetrical or is one bolt hole offset slightly?

Thanks for that I had got it with a big block pan with the idler arm notch, but wasn't sure if the balancer was off the same engine or not.

It does have the one offset hole in it as well...

There are two versions of the BB nuetral balancers, 1966 and earleir, maybe 1967 and earlier and the later one until they switch to teh symetrical bolt patterns. The major differences between the two is the timing mark, the earlier motors had a timing cover with a straight timing tab with the zero mark at the top and the later ones where for use with the timing covers with the longer curved timing tab with the sero in the middle Verify the timing mark and either use it or correct it to use with the timing cover you have

Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

Thanks Cab

I got the timing cover with it too actually..

(the guy had the balancer, timing cover, and one of the oil pans with the idler arm notch in it...along with some other stuff I had wanted at the swap meet so I ended up just doing a cheap package deal on the lot of it )
