Okay I've owned two 5.7L Hemi trucks and I will tell you that they all tick due to the valvetrain geometry and setup. If you have a really loud tick that is pronounced when cold and it goes away after fully warming up then you probably have a broken exhaust manifold bolt. The OEM ones stink so it is broken I would try to see if ARP has some good quality ones. Other than that both of my trucks ticked via the valvetrain and I ran Mobil filters with their synthetic oil. On a 2009 I wouldn't seafoam the engine or the fuel system.
