Muffler finish advice needed please
T/A mufflers OEM finish
I've seen all of the following finishes and don't know which of the three is originally correct, if any. Any advice appreciated.
1)uncoated

2)all black all over

3)all black including two pipes on muffler, except the face plate the two pipes came out of is uncoated (zinc?), like the muffler was standing on the muffler pipes when coated

I changed the last word, but that is the way they were done.

Thank you Alaskan TA!!

Didn't think to ask before if the wraparound clamps were black or unpainted

If the clamps had a coating, it may have been black phosphate? I can see some black mixed with the rust.

Based on the rust, my best guess is that they were left bare.
