I'm trying to wire in some speakers and am trying to figure out which wire mopar considered + and -. The 1971 speaker harness has green and black. I'd guess the black would be -, and green +, but could use a second opinion.
The service manual and google didn't give me an answer

Use a D cell battery and connect to speaker leads or terminals. If speaker cone moves up and away from the magnet, the + and - side of the speaker match that of the battery. If not, they are reversed and the speaker cone will move down towards the magnet.
