I just put a new gas tank in my car and every now and then I smell gas. I checked my fuel line and I don't see any leaks. So I was thinking of replacing my gas cap. Should the cap be vented or non-vented. I don't think the cap on there now(pretty sure its not original) is vented but its old and it leaks. The car is a 68 Satellite 318 auto. It also has the original vent lines coming off the tank. Thanks, Bobby
