Pure junk. Not worth the postage it will take to send it to me. But go ahead, send it on. JK I have always had better luck with the carters, tho most seem to lean towards the Holleys. Parts are a little harder to come by to mod them, Holley stuff falls out of the trees, seems. However, often times I find the Carters need less to make them work.
It takes gasoline to interest me.

I put that same carb on my stock 440 in my 68 Charger in 1994, it is still there and is a great carb for me. I had to adjust the idle one time on a trip to the Nats in Columbus, it got some dirt in it...It settled in after a couple of miles and got back to normal... That was 10 yrs ago.. It has always seemed a little fat to me at WOT, but it simply works great..

Thanks for all the positive comments on this unit. Is the 0441 a date next to the part number? Does it mean 44 day of 1981?

I just picked up two of these carbs still shrink wrapped in their original boxes. Sounds like they are worth keeping?

At one time both the Carter brand and Edelbrock brand carburetors were manufactured by Weber in Sanford, NC. Carter(Federal-Mogul) got out of the business at some point. I don't know if Weber still produces for Edelbrock.
