The VIN is also on a Mylar sticker on the driver door.

Which is a part that is regularly reproduced along with the fender tag ... and potentially the VIN tag if you know the right boxes to check ...

If you find a VIN stamped in the trunk area on an E-body....RUN. No VIN in trunk area on an E-body.

There are NO partial VIN#s stamped on the trunk lip of ANY & ALL E-bodies.
("fastback" A-bodies, '71-'74 B-bodies and others as well)

Stamped numbers YES, but not VIN related.

The last 5? Really? They must be doing alot of re-stamping in California these days. Probably out of work B body guys bufuddled or hung over mistakingly confusing E bodies with B bodies.
