Hi,
Where could I buy new grommets for the valve covers. Also is interested to buy a new PCV-valve. Did find correct PCV-valve (with brass fitting) to the 1963 engine but not to the 1964...

Cheers!

I searched the internet and starting to understand I dont have correct valve covers. It seems like the MW ones have tubes instead of mine's who have holes with grommets.
Anyway, I need new grommets but maybe they are easier to find then...

Is that your engine ?

Contact member Joesixpack for the PCV and if that is your engine it appears you have the correct valve covers???

Otherwise you can get the groments from Chrysler still so any of the sellers on the board can get them for you , check with Bill Alphin , gtx6970 ...

Do you have the valve covers with the small round tubes sticking out of them ?

No, its holes and rubber grommets. The breather and pcv-valve have small tubes in the end which is pushed in the rubber grommets hole (in valve covers).
Sorry for strange description but aint no pro on english. Hope you understand.

Can you post a closeup picture of the PCV valve and how it is attached ? The black tube that the PCV is sticking out of , is that black tube part of the valve cover ?

I bought a 1963 Belevdere 2 door sedan M.W. 415 HP in 1971, I was the third owner. it did not have a PVC or any sign of ever having one It did have two black push on breather caps I don't kinow about the 1964 M.W. motors but it wouldn't suprise me that they didn't come with them either BTW, the 1963 M.W. valve covers where four bolt covers and mine had the corners like the six bolt covers did but no holes in them, the internal breather baffles where higher in them also

Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

I don't think max wedge cars use a grommet on the breather or the pcv valve.

I though both valve covers use a tower on them,
like shown above with a bolt in pcv valve thats attached to a slip on cap

I bought the grommets to fit these valve covers at a local speed shop. Yes we still have one around. I cant remember what brand they were but they fit these covers just fine. That is one sweet looking Max Wedge eng you have. Ron
