I miss the old waa-waa-waa barely turning over sound of a 60's starter, but the minis are smaller, lighter and do a lot better job all-around. I've gone to junkyard mini starters on all my stuff. A lot easier on the arms to install a mini from underneath too!
Ditto on all counts!
My 440 starts so fast it scares me sometimes!
I would never go back to the old waaa-waa starters!

All of the rear wheel drive V6/V8 starters will work. The newer ones from around 97 ish have a plug in wire for the solinoid wire. The older versions have the 2 post connections. The newer ones can be used with mods the the solinoid wire.. Thats a good price on the E Bay version..
