that's nice but it doesn't help
Let me clear up what I'm trying to say, Mopar V8 like to be ran leaner(cleaner spark plugs) than SB Chevys do The mixture and heat range of the spark plug determine what the spark plug will look like,I'm going to post a picture of 4 spark plugs out of my motors, the plug on the right is out of a motor dyno tested with race gas( it made 727 HP at 5900 RPM with a AFR of 13.3 at WOT ), the other three are out of my pump gas motor. The second plug from the right is a current one with the tune on the carb. almost perfect, 13.8 to 14.5 AFR at cruise RPM, the one on the left is to fat, 12.8 to 13.3 at cruise RPM and the one next to it is marginally rich I hope this helps, Mopars are not like every other motor out there, they run better when tuned up properly ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/Twocents.gif)
Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)
