I have a W2 open chamber head, head number P4532693 does anyone know what the CC of this head is and is this a good race head for a 12:1 dome piston i have 396 stroke crank .30 over which makes 412 cubic inches I need to know will this head work with a dome piston were ported the head and flowed them on an indy cylinder bench and it flowed .305 and some change $ my buddy told me that with this head and the dome piston will make to much compression and will be blowing gaskets does anyone know if this is right or wrong any help would be great thank you very much....

You will have to check them, they all vary a little. I had read all the info out there on them trying to figure out what mine were, and ended up CC'ing them. Glad I did.

The chamber on my W-2s was within 2 cc of a std 340 head. I got mine new and they came in at 70 cc. I think spec is supposed to be same as the std head @ 68cc.

Well with 12:1 you should use head studs and composite gaskets... imo. Stock o/c W2's should spec out somewhere around 70cc. Personally I would have gone with closed chamber and D-dish pistons.
