Hey, so does anyone have a keisler in their B-body with tti headers? How is your clearence? Mine sit way low now that I have the keisler in, and its in anoying. My headers are 2" off of the ground, a good 2" lower than they used to be. Anyone have any tricks to get them a little higher?

Did your kit come with a spacer for the trans mount to raise the trans? That should give you some additional clearence.

Mine seemed low too , so I installed the trans using a large , dense piece of foam rubber around the shift tower and on top of trans , used a lift at work with a jack stand under the trans cross member , loosend the cross member bolts and droped the lift slowly and then tighted the bolts back up and seems much better now . Basicly reforming the trans tunnel a little and The cross member alot tighter to floor pan . Thers still enough clearance that nothing touches . Way better header clearance now , and no doubt better drive line angle .

How much clearence do have between the floorpan and collector flange? Also the TTI instructions should have the measurments for the engine position.

I have the same set-up as you RB with a 5 speed but in an e-body. I had to do some tweaking to get extra clearence since my car sits pretty low. The spacer helped quite a bit on my car. Don't understand how you could have the same clearence when you put the spacer in.

I have plenty of clearance with mine, 69 Satellite, Keisler, tti with 3" pipes, schumacher mounts and a hemi.

the spacer helped, but not as much as I would have liked. My car bottoms out just pulling into the garage.

Hmm. I've got the Keisler and TTI's. Low but not that low. The squat changed a little with the aluminum bellhousing and removal of the stock exhaust manifolds and may have compensated. I angle speed bumps and get a mild scrape on rare occasion and only the flange. So far so good.
