I looked through the gaskets sets that I have sitting around (always keep stray gaskets) and I don't have a choke well gasket for the 440. The gasket on the Imp is leaking. I have some gasket material and made one of my own. It ended up leaking and blowing out pieces. I'd really like to get the exhaust gasses out of the engine compartment.

Oz, where did you find those things? I don't have any from the gasket sets I've used in more than 15 years. I never throw away gaskets and I don't mess with stock intakes (until now). I have several motorhome/industrial RB water pump gaskets, lot of valve seals, and oodles of manifold head pipe gaskets but not a single choke well gasket.

Who knows..
I did end up with a few odd ball gaskets back when I worked at the dealership though.
One of them is just a fiber gasket and the other has the perferated metal like an exhaust manifold gasket on it.

P5249639 for both the gasket and the cup, priced lower than just the cup by itself
Don't you just love that sort of thing?
It's usually the other way around , priced higher than the 2 parts separate .

The exhaust would cook the Permatex. That stuff isn't designed for the super high heat of exhaust gasses.
I know some people put it on exhaust manifold gaskets but I'd bet they're wasting their time. Ultra Copper is advertised for 700 degrees for intermittent use. I don't know that it would survive higher exhaust temps under WOT. You're looking at 1200 degrees and higher.
