Hey guys, I did a search on here and didn't seem to find much info. I was wondering where everyone has bought their positive battery cables and how you liked them? Positive cable prices seem to be really high from some places and pretty cheap at others. And yes, I know... you get what you pay for. I guess I just want the best deal out there.
On most of the Mopars that I have restored for other people, we ordered most everything from Year One (M&H), which was great, but always the highest priced. I am slowly gathering parts for my '69 Super Bee 383 4spd and I will be putting it back to factory specs as much as I possibly can afford to. So, I will post the cables I have found for this particular car....
Year One MC34 $159.99 RQ25 $45.99
RosevilleMoparts.com 2132-302-683 $39.56
Goodmark 2132-302-683 $53.71
Classic Industries MB2534 $129.99
AMhightechauto.com 11P-B $145.00
Totally Auto Inc. 11P-B $125.00
Herb's Parts 11PB $139.00
Atlas Obsolete Mopar Parts $216.99 Pos/Neg/brackets.
It looks like there are only a couple manufacturers but many suppliers. Please give me your thoughts. Thanks!!!

Thanks for the reply Randy. So do you manufacture your own cables? I looked on your site when I listed all of the other cables but I didn't see a "cable" category and I didn't scroll through all of the pages. I will definitely keep Dixie in mind when I get ready to order the cables for my car. Plus, I used to live in Acworth, GA too... so that's a plus! Ha! Thanks again.

DOH! I didn't even notice the Battery section and went straight to the Electrical section. Thanks!

I would just like to know why the seemingly sudden spike in prices for battery cables at swap meets lately? Is it the price of copper or something?
Seems like even Dixie raised their prices $15 for the 338 cables since Thursday!
He quotes $110 in the above post but on their site they are now $125

Here is a post I did awhile back about our cables. You can read it and see if it's what you're looking for. The in-depth description is in the middle of the thread.
Our 383 positive cable is $110 and negative is $75.

69-70 B body positive battery cable
Price: $125.00
Quantity: Add to cart 69-70 B body positive battery cable- big block, 1 piece molded starter lug
My apologies, I should have explained this in my post. Our regular non-Hemi positive cable is $110 and negative is $75. The $125 is with the part number tag which we no longer carry. It's the same cable, and you can buy the tag from one of the various companies that sell them if you want one. We will update that section of our site shortly. More than likely on Monday or Tuesday. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Prior to the site correction, if you want to order, please call us direct.

Also, they do come with the correctly plated nut and bolt for the terminal end.
While I sell many products from the company Paul Jacobs describes, I do not sell their battery cables. In my humble opinion the cables I sell are higher quality and more OE correct. Again, see link above for more detail. The ones I carry are also made in the USA. The ones Paul references are probably the next in line closest to OE you will find after what I carry. Of course, that's my personal opinion. But, if I thought the others were better, I'd sell them instead.
I agree with him on the Chinese cables, be very careful with those. Also, some of the cables you get from Mopar work fine, but are not OE correct.
Please call or email us with any questions.
Thanks, Randy
