At long last I am at the phase of my '73 to AAR project that I am close to taking the plunge and buying an AAR hood which will allow me to properly finish the fender conversions/fit. Since this is a clone and I am not trying to fool anyone just making it as nice as I can I do not need an original hood; however I would like to know easy things to look for to tell the difference. Any tips?

If I decide to buy a new one any recommendations? Plus do original AAR's have hinged, lift off, or were both types of hoods available?

On an original AAR the hoods were/are hinged. Even though they have light springs they bow....
