I have two sets of wheels 8" and 8-1/2" and use both under my 1974 Duster with SS springs and a lowering front spring hanger.
I do use a 1/4" spacer behind the rims for spring clearance.
The 8" rims have BF Goodright Radial TA 275/60/15 tires and the 8-1/2" rims have Goodyear Radial drag slicks 9"X30"
The front leading edge of the wheel well opening has been trimmed about 1" to 1-1/2" for tire clearance.

Thanks DMKING But I have the car painted and done already and that is way too much metal work for my street beater. If I need that much tire in the future that can always be done later. Kasey
