I'd like to hear about the different kits that everyone is using? What's the best for the cash? Flowmaster, Borla, others?

if u want a cheap upgrade before you buy any of those cat backs.. have the resonator removed.. my 300c 5.7 sounds great with factory muff's and no res.. and it was basically a free mod..

Is there a kit to do that or do you cut out the resonators and weld in pipes?

Here's what my mufflers sound on the new Challengers - full 2.5" system & pipes custom-bent by a competent muffler shop (St. Louis area):

I'll be doing a 4-muffler Powerstick chambered system on my 2012 very shortly here. I'll run 2.5" in the midpipe with 2.5" x 22" long Powerstick mufflers, & then 3" tailpipes with some shorty 12" x 3" Powersticks at the rear, & 3" inlet Pypes stainless quad tips. The 2.5" diameter in the midpipe section will maintain flow velocity, the 3" tailpipes will produce a SUPER deep tone. I can't wait. I will document the before & after via photos & short movie clips.

Used Blastin Bobs to replace my resonators on my Charger. Called him up told him the kind of sound I wanted, deep rumble; and they suggested the perfect setup. Think it sounds great, and feels a bit better too. Good bang for the buck.

I wanted mine louder then stock but not so loud i cant talk in side the car.. nail it and its awesome..Great sound. I have a lot of people make good comments about it.
... and they always ask what kinda exh system i have.. Then when i tell them its all factory exhaust except no res they are like really, (hell ya) and it only took an hour at the shop, plus its a good starting point on the tune you want, if ya don't like it you can go louder and replace the factory muffs.. and its soo hard to pick a tune/sound on the computer.. wish you could hear mine, bet you would like it..

I saw the jegs system and wondered about it. I'll have to look at Blastin Bobs to see what they're all about. Keep the suggestions coming.....

Best idea I've seen in a while.

I've heard of people doing this on the Rams; I have an '07 with MDS and was thinking about either doing this modification or finding a new system that some Goof took off his SRT Ram.

Do you get any "drone" out of yours, Don?

Any ideas to cut the cats out and fool the 2nd sensor? I'd like to do that first 'cuz it worked really well (+1.5 mpg) on my 360 Magnum.........

Our Charger came with a 2 1/2 JPA system which was fun for about a week. Without a rear resonator it was impossible to carry on a conversation at some RPMs. We had a 2 1/2 glass pack added just behind the tip and it made a huge difference. I think the JPA system has lower restriction than stock without the resonator.
