These things are absolute animals. I was working in staging at a local track when a guy was shaking his down......came out of the water and hydraulic'ed the back cylinder..lifting it off the block and taking a chunk of that with it. If not for the top tube on the frame , I think it would have gone right through him. Definitely not for the faint of heart.

ahhh...the wayback machine. i loved racing bikes everyone was cool and we had a blast, most fun i ever had racing. i was running super comp, my friend ronnie bones ran funny bike and pro fuel harley. i believe these are the two quickest and fastest bikes in the world. McBride's been 5.70s, Hogan's been 255 McBride/Hogan bones ran 206 on this bike, held the national 1/8 MPH record at one time bones on DJ's pro fuel harley me on my lowly SC bike (least it had #1 on it) now here's something different...Larry goes 7.46 at 177 on voltage, electric motors are known for brutal torque battery power

My buddy had a nitro HD years ago.He just put a new motor in and fired it in my other buddys garage. It stalled and they tried to fire it without clearing the cylinders. There are still pieves of the motor in the garage walls. One piece just missed one guy by about 3 inches.Needless to say there was a quick 15K down the drain. He ran it for about 3 years.Never did make any money with it as sponsorship was tough to find.Rocky
