What can I use to get oil off my TTI headers that have the heat coating on them. The motor blew the rear main seal last summer and now I have oil coated headers. I know this has been asked before but I can't find the post.
Thanks

I've used Scotchbrite with mild solvent (paint thinner, mineral spirits ect.) followed by simple green and a pressure wash.

#0000 Steel wool and a bit of Brakecleen. It works great, but because you are, in essence, polishing it out, you dont want to do this too many times. The coating may start to thin......
