Looking to remove the blower motor on my 71 Dart, and curious if anyone makes a nice finished block-off plate for the firewall?

Is yours a factory A/C car? If it is not the way the factory did it was to just make a circular flat metal plate behind the blower motor bezel. If it is an A/C car you just need to cut a circular plate and bolt it over the hole.

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

Yes, I make block off plates. I'll post a picture of the one I make when I get back to my computer with the files.

Non-AC car.. thanks, AndyF!

I'll probably go to a Vintage Air heater/defroster unit later down the road, allowing me to get rid of all the factory heaterbox crap

I have these plates on hand. They are sort of a minimal design. I also have a design that is the same shape and size as the gasket.

I install studs in the plates so that it is easy to install them. You just tighten the nuts on the inside and the plate is installed.

Not to turn this into a "for sale" posting .. but how much do these sell for?
