Lee OP mopar Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 410 Chicago	Are the jets and rods from the new Edelbrock AVS carbs interchangable with the older AVS carbs. Have a 69 GTX going on a chassis dyno and would like to have some jets and rods for tuning. Lee

JohnRR I Win Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 75,005 U.S.S.A.	You can use them but they are not the same. The original AVS rods are 3 step , the Ebrocks are 2 step as used in the earlier AFB's. You'll need to change the tin cover over the step up piston to a flat one or fill the dome of the stock AVS covers .
