No.
Normally A/C recommended tinted glass (G11), but clear glass could be ordered (G21).

There was a third option of tinted windshield only (G15). As mentioned above tinted glass was not required with a/c, however most a/c cars were was usually ordered with all tinted glass (G11).

On non a/c cars the tinted windshield was a common option, and some had all tinted glass, but was not common.

for the US spec. (Y05) '70 'Cuda hardtop (BS23) ..... per GG's '70 'Cuda "Option & Accessories Report"

16710 built - 1970 'Cudas (BS23 & Y05)
~ 2072 with A/C (H51)
~ 4946 with tinted glass (G11) * recommended with A/C
~ 4729 with tinted windshield (G15)

BS23 $ 3164.00
*H51 $$ 357.65
*G11 $$$ 32.75
*G15 $$$ 20.40

..... so, a clear windshield in a '70 'Cuda hardtop is "rarer" than tinted one

of the 16710 - '70 'Cudas (BS23 & Y05)

A/C was not available on almost 1/3 of them (~5465) - HEMI, 440+6, 440 4bbl w/4-spd, AAR - many of these have G11 or G15

Dan and Bob,

Thanks for the info. Looks like full tinted glass was much more common on non-a/c cars than I thought!

Guess I shouldn't use my personal experience with old mopars to generalize for all old mopars.
