I have an old Cloyes timing chain set on my 340. It's the 5 keyway design purchased through Mopar Performance/Direct Connection many years ago. Can anyone verify the symbols for me? I know that there is straight up, and 2 & 4 degree advance, and 2 & 4 degree retard, but which symbol is for which setting?
Thanks

I looked at the Cloyes website first, but when I saw that they only sell three-way sets now, I decided to post here first. I will contact them. Thanks.
Also, as near as I can tell, the symbols are: circle, for straight up; Z, X, triangle, and rectangle.
I thought I had saved the sheet for future reference, but haven't had any luck finding it yet.
Thanks again!

i would think the index to the rt is retarded and the left advanced so if you look at the keyway where it lines up with the chain tooth it will be to one side or the other.
