I put one on my '09 Challenger. Pros are it looks real good, and draws a lot of attention at cruises, I'm always amazed at the number of people I see sticking their heads into my car to check out the shifter! It also only took about 10 minutes to install it. Cons are that the boot doesn't retain to the shaft with the factory retainer clip, instead they supply one of those serrated plastic straps like you use on a plastic leaf bag, and when driving I hear a little rattling noise coming from the shifter that I believe comes from the boot not being securely retained to the handle. And the shifter has a long throw. Mopar offers a pistol grip shifter assembly complete with linkage assembly to convert to a short throw pistol grip, which would be better, but it is around 2X what Gunslingers handle costs.

IM planning on getting one, I just havent gotten around to ordering it yet. I hatehatehate the OE 6 speed shifter. I little bit longer of a throw wont bother me to get a better grip and more positive control.

The E-body handle sits a little higher than I like so I drilled another hole above the top hole in the handle and dropped the handle down some.

No, the Gunslinger is just a handle that plugs into the factory shift mechanism. The Hurst replaces the factory mechanism and has provisions for both the factory-style plug-in handle and a two-bolt flat handle.

Either the Hurst or the Mopar version feels the best to me. Super positive, no slop.
The stock setup feels kind of rubbery
