I'm freshening a stock 1970 340 and thinking about upgrading the original cam to the mopar performance P4452761 268/272 450/455 cam .
The 70 cuda has the original exhaust manifolds and a 3:23 gear ratio.
Does anyone run this cam and how do you like it......does it still make good low end torque?

Been running this cam in multiple 340's for years. I've run it with manifolds and headers. Gives it a slighly noticable idle but otherwise it runs like the stock cam. In other words it's not gonna kill low end torque.

MP used it in their (famous) 318 buildup where they got more than 300 hp from a 318 with ported 302 heads. Not a bad cam.

I have that cam in my 340 under a 6 pack in my shorty. I absolutely love it. Great mild lope/sound. Works great with the trio.
