Here is a pic of my demon j54 car from may 1975, it sure looks like there is a emblem on the drivers side. this is a scanned photo from the original that the owner still has, he had the car from 1973 to 79 notice the hood blackout does not have the border and also the inner upper doors are also matte black. the car was painted about a year after he sold it. i Guess i should get in touch with him and ask him to view his original photo and also to dig way back and try to remember. BTW this was an SPD April 2.

Its like the trunklid emblems on 72 Demons, some say Dodge, some say Dodge Dart.
Or the Plymouth emblem on 71 Duster trunk lids, some have it some don't.

Quote:
if you look close you can see where the emblem was
Also notice the hood bezels are chrome and so is the (base model) D. side mirror. I have noticed that original cars with painted sport mirrors and/or hood blackout also had black scoop bezels while those with no blackout and/chrome mirrors had chrome bezels.
The problem is that so many of the smaller details on the A-body cars have been added or changed by thier owners that many of the smaller details are lost in time, very few unmolested examples still exist to study.
