did mopar ever make slotted exhaust tips in 2 1/2? the type that go on 71 and up roadrunners.
i have a set of tips that are the ones that go on resonators. they don't have ant hangers on the tips. they measure 2 1/2". i thought mopar ones were 2 1/4". they have chrome plating on the outside and the pips have rust on the inside of the chrome slots so they aren't made of stainless.
do i have a older repo type tip, they factory parts or over the counter accessory replacement parts. if i remember correctly i bought them in the early 90's.

The tips for the resonators attach directly to the resonator which has the hanger . I have a set of resonator and tailpipes off a 18k mile 71 Hemi GTX hiding in the rafters

i finally was able to take a pic.
the pipes are 2 1/2". everything is made of regular steel. the chrome part is chrome plated not stainless.
are they a early repo part? if i remember correctly they were in the trunk of a 71 road runner i parted out in the early 90's.
over the counter replacements? there are no marking on them to help identify.

Look a lot like the tti ones available in 2.5" and 3".
My original ones on my 72 road runner were 2.25"

What was I thinking....

i thought that they were aftermarket also.
i also thought the TTI's were made out of stainless steel. these are made out of regular steel, the chrome is plating.
i am thinking they are over the counter parts from direct connection or early aftermarket repos. i have had them for about 20 years.

those aren't even the correct length for a road runner (look more like Charger tips). here's a pic of correct NOS tips
