Im looking for any info on the window louvers. I have some textured trim and was thinking about putting a set on my 71.I do not remember seeing or reading much about these, which now seems odd.Was this an unpopular option when new?Any ideas on how many were built with them.Any pics of your car with them?Just curious I guess.

Louvers were a rare option. Available on 70 and 71 Challengers and Cuda's Originals are rare and expensive. There are a couple of sources of good (but not great) repop's available. Gean Gregory has been repoping them for some time. His shop is in IL. Occasionally you'll find his on Ebag.

There are a couple of other folks producing louvers of late as well though I've not seen any of these new manufactureres work. Expect to spend about $1000 for a good set.

Scott Smith was going to get into the Louver business but I believe has passed on this for now.
Moparts member Diego was making them, but has stopped as far as I know.

Back when Domingo and I were working together I sent some originals to Peru so Daniel our metal craftsman could duplicate them for us. They came out really nice but the attachment welds were giving us issues concerning alignment, etc. We ended up calling it quits back then but Domingo might be interested in getting them made if there's enough interest. You can contact him here on Moparts or try www.restorick.com to reach him.
