I believe it's a 2 core. I'll have to check. Stock in a 70 challenger r/t 383 with ac.

One of them cooled my twin turbocharged 440 despite one turbo being close enough to heat up the side of the radiator.
Unless I was absolutely brutal to it on a 100+ degree night the temp gauge would stay under 200 on a 190 t-stat.

It's a three core if it came with an A/C car. Even my 318 A/C car came with a 26" three core.

Just curious, how much hp will a stock 26 inch radiator cool. I'm building a 520hp 470 for cruising. And was just curious if the stock 26 inch rad would keep it cool? Right now the stock 383 keeps cool but pukes after running a while and shutting it down. Thanks
Remember what they say about curiosity.
Anyway, for peace of mind, just spend an extra $300? on a aftermarket alum rad on your 520hp build and cruise cool. Cooling problems then will from your tune, air flow, etc , not the rad. The possible cooling variables are nearly endless, just eliminate the radiator as one.
Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

Put a puke tank on it so the radiator can draw the coolant back in when it cools.
No more problem.

Keep in mind.. What the OE factory used to kool their big blocks including the Hemi.. Shroud, clutch fan.. This is a very mis-understood area.. Guys are hanging on multiple electrical pushers and pullers if they just went back to the Ma Mopar basics.. Now if somebody is.. Running an 800HP, blown engine On the street Lives in Mojave, CA Sitting in stop/go traffic 105 degrees outside temperature.. Maybe then.. Something else is required.. Just my $0.02..

The shroud, fan, fan spacing, T-stat, pulleys, etc. are just as important as the radiator itself. All last year I tried to make my huge dual electric fan set-up (4200 CFM) work on my mild (500hp) 440. This year it hardly comes off the 180 T-stat. - 26" Glen-Ray radiator w/closer tube spacing - flex fan - stock shroud w/fan half in and half out - Milodon high flow 180 T-stat - stock pulleys sizes Bob Schirmer at Glen-Ray helped me A LOT in diagnosing my problem, but we just couldn't make the electric fans work. He tried to solve my problem without selling me a new radiator, but his radiator certainly helped. He's never seen a street car run hot with this combination of Hayden flex fan & radiator.
