I've ran Rotella and Castrol Syntec 20w50. I don't think it really matters that your running alcohol as long as its tuned properly.

I've been using Red Line 30W racing oil for a few years now with no problems. Nice thing about methanol, if you get fuel in the oil, all it takes is some heat and it all evaporates out and the oil is clean. When my gas carb had a stuck inlet needle, I had to throw out my oil!

Pick your oil according to bearing clearances and power, just like you would a gas motor. Run the motor warm to keep the oil clear, and life is good. Oil in an alky motor actually lasts longer than in a gas motor due to no fuel dilution like gasoline. The alky just boils away when you put heat in the motor. I run mine at 190 launch, heat to 200 plus on return road and before I put it away for the day.
