Having difficulty with this on my Cuda,no air.My cable has a 90 degree bend at one end.Doesnt seem to work at either end.Which end is it supposed to go to?the control or the door?If its the door,i may have the door installed wrong,as the lever swivels front to back instead of left to right. Thanks for any help with this.

Kinda hard to understand what you're saying but I'll give you my scenario.

68 super bee- heat controls are dead center on the dash underneath the dash cap.
I had one of the levers when I moved it bend like yours sounds like. Eventually it broke...imagine taking a coat hanger wire and bending it back and forth. eventually it will get so weak that it breaks. What I'm getting at is you might just need the whole part. https://www.yearone.com/Catalog/Show?bid=24&sid=132&ssid=663&pgid=0
Just showing yearone as a reference. Under "interior" look up vent cable or heater control cable.

hope it helps
