Hey guys, looking to add a set of Hotchkis leaf springs to one of the cars and since it has an inboard spring kit. I was wondering if there will be any problems with using our front hanger instead if their supplied piece? Not sure if their spring front diam is the same as a mopar leaf springs, if it might affect mounting or handeling. Here are a few picks of what is on the car. The plus side, easily puts 10in wheels on the back and has tons of wheelwell clearance.

Big problems, no. I think, but am not sure, that there is something different about the Hotchkiss spring eye to main leaf plane relationship. I'm sure someone else who knows better can chime in.

The impact on rate is present, but limited. With a 1" offset like that, you loose approximately 15# of spring rate at the wheel. Probably not enough to notice.

You do want to check thrust alignment to make sure the rear is centered and wheelbase is equal. Shim the offending hanger if required.

Got off the phone with them, said I could use my stock front hanger, but I would loose about 3/4 of an inch from the suspension so it won't be lowered. I can later on fab a new one up with their parts to get that 3/4's back, but that won't be a problem.

Now have to find out if I can still get their lowered shocks for the rear, or if I have to usr std length. SInce I plan on lowereing the rear, will the stock lowered shocks work til I do the work?

Sorry, not following. You would loose 3/4" from the measurement of what?
