I have seen "pie tins" on eBay and other places. What the heck is it? The actual top piece of an air cleaner or a piece of tin that goes over it to dress it up?

Silly question I know, but I really would like to know.

Thanks,

Steve

Just a tin plate that goes on top of air cleaner to dress it up. Most factory Mopar Hi Po motors had one.

Do you know if you can get the 66-67 Chrysler TNT piece as a pie tin like the later ones, or did it only come as that cut out piece with the slice in it?

They only came as the stick on applicque. The shape of the air cleaner is different, a pie tin won't fit. Used to be you could get a decal for them but I don't know if anyone still makes those.

That's different. He's talking about one like this. The top picture is a replacement decal. There is a slight difference.

Has anyone else been having problems with Nick's site? It loads very slow, and half the pictures are missing when it's done. Everyplace else I go is OK. Happens with Firefox and IE.

I've been having some problems with my web host. It probably doesn't help that I have so many pictures on there. Just not sure how to break it up. Hopefully my server issues will be resolved soon.

Thanks Nick. Not complaining...just wanted to make sure it wasn't some sort of PC issue on my end.

And your site/efforts are greatly appreciated!

Hopefully it's working properly now. It's the busiest page on my site. Has had 2500 views in the past 30 days. Maybe I should be the air cleaner guru and start charging. LOL.
