My 440 currently has a Edelbrock 750 on it that runs ok I guess. I want to try one of these new Slayer carbs for this season. I really want a 6 Pack but my new garage floor is eating up my play money.

My motor is mostly a stock HP build. Nothing crazy. 30 over flat top forged pistons, balanced rotating assembly, 906 heads, Performer 440 intake, Hedman shortys headers. 727 with Hughes Street Master converter and 3:55's.

Do you think any noticeable difference in performance would be gained by switching to this carb over the Eddy 750?

What adapter (brand and part number) would I need to hook my Bouchillon throttle pressure cable setup to the QF carb?

We have one car with a 750 Carter and one with the 750 Slayer. I would not spend the money to replace the Carter unless it had a problem. The nice thing about the Slayer (if you have the jets and bleeds to play with) is the ability to dial it in more precisely. If the Carter runs and drives fine it would be a waste of money IMO.
