b54406barrel master B Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 3,054 USA	Is it actually a 'Hemi' decal or the 'airgrabber' one? I'm just kind of curious. On my 6bbl car, it's an ag decal because it has the ag. Friends 70, 6bbl car without ag, has a 'six barrel' decal on it. Would the same be true of a Hemi car, with & without ag?

Thaught they only had the larger Coyote duster decal (for the oval lid) and the small filter element care sticker. Can't say for sure as my orig air cleaner did not come with my car. Thaught I read that the HEMI decal was only on GTX in '70 and then on both in '71. The ones I have seen were across the lid just alittle rear of center. I have never seen a "survivor" '70 Hemi RR so I don't know if they got em or not. Gary.

I searched the net for conformation but every single pic I found had the big HEMI decal on it so I wasn't as sure as I was previously. (still sometimes struggle with those "self confidence issues" ) Thanks for backing me up with photo evidence....ummm that is your orig air cleaner right? Gary.

(probably not both though) Gary. hmmmm...... stirred up a little more controversy than i thought yes, the sticker is going on. it will look very, very stock, but i guess that will give it away in the end, that the stick isn't supposed to be there. that and the 540 in place of 426! i do have both, and thought of it, but that would look awful busy, and since it never did come from the factory that way at all, i'll pass. here is the beginning of the beast, just painted it today. should be a short block by the end of this weekend 7129450-IMG_1101.jpg (155 downloads)

mickm OP master Joined: Jul 2006 Posts: 4,179 California	no, this is a new engine. got the block last april at spring fling, and am slowly working on putting parts together. should have the short block together soon, but i'm not really expecting to have the whole engine together for a while. the stuff i got from you is for the current engine, but will also go on the new one when i get it in there.
