I wanted to see what master cylinder would fit in a stock replacement from a single reservoir to a double. I relaize I have to replumb the dual cylinder but I was hoping not to have to by a disc conversion set up. Its for a 65 coronet..

Most anything will work if you want cast iron. I highly recommend going with the newer aluminum master cylinder though. Get the MC and the adapter plate from Mancini Racing or DoctorDiff.

If your original setup is power you will need a manual brake firewall plate. After that I would get the 4 to 2 adapter and a new style MC. The bore size will matter if you use drum/drum, 2 piston disc/drum, 4 piston disc/drum, etc. Don't forget the proportioning valve for the front if you go disc/drum.
