I just got a hotchikis front sway bar for my 69 charger and am having difficulty fitting it in. The car had a swaybar stock so I'm just using the old endlink mount. But it seems like the bar ain't long (rubs my strut mounts) enough even though holes of my old bar line up with this one. WTF. Help?

Did you think to lay the stock bar atop the new one to verify that the contours are similar?

So, the distance from the endlink holes to endlink holes are the same?

If the enlinks were taller or shorter would that stop the rubbing with the strut rod?

I think that last question may have held the answer.

On my rear bar, I had to lengthen the end links with a small stack of 1/8" thick shim washers to position the bar to clear the rear diff and exhaust. Depending on your exact ride height, some adjustment may be required.

Whose rear bar do you have installed?
