I'm not changing the 14" rallyes out as I don't want to deviate from the factory appearance with my 14" polyglas tires. I can change bolt patterns without being noticeable but I'm trying hard to hide the race car behind the factory appearance with 14's. The car does make lots of fast passes and as much as I would like better braking- I'm not willing to change the wheel diameter or style. I can just order up a new rear drum setup and be done with it, but I figured that being that everything is apart if I am going to make any big changes, now is the time to do it.

So being that you seem to be familiar with the associated swap maybe you can tell me then, do the "M" rotors fit on to the 73 up "A" body disk brake spindles?
Yes , a 10.75 rotor is a 10.75 rotor when it comes to the later 73 disc setups .
This disc setup will be better than the 10" drum brakes you currently have .

Ok, I'm bringing this thread back from the dead. Today I went and pulled a front disk brake setup from a 73 dart and when I went to pick up the assemblies I realized that this stuff is a LOT heavier than I anticipated or hoped. It feels heavier than my drum brake setup. I don't know if the majority of the weight is from the disks or the if the calipers are super heavy as well but this seems unacceptable to put this much weight back up front. Soooo what other options are there to still retain the 14" wheel? Wilwood has a kit with 11" disks that MAY clear my wheels depending on how big the calipers are but have aluminum hubs and I have steel wheels- a no-no. I could do Andy F's kit of Wilwood calipers on the factory rotor but if that rotor is as heavy as I think it is, then that doesn't seem like the hot ticket either. Any other ideas for me?
