I missed last years MATS race, I was in the hospital with a severe infection from a operation  (brain implant, trying to quit drag racing  ) I'm planning on being there this year, I do have another cuople that both race that I'll be meeting there so that is three pit spaces, anyone else intetested  Diego Ted and Hollywood, you going? I like to get Thumperdart up there but I don't know that it is possible for him, knowing his recent life style changes  I hope he can  See my post on page three

I'm always interested. We will be running Super Pro and quick 16 likely but still have not decided. Quick 16 usually puts us in thier pits which woudl seperate us from the crowd. But maybe we will just run S/Pro this year.

I talked to Dave and one other that is actually on this board, he used to race airplanes at the Reno Air Races, now he is gonna give this a try. I won't divulge his name but he is said to be a nice guy from Dixon area. Hope that helps lol, who knows maybe it will be out at Infineon Sunday

Cab like alot of guys here there is a group of us that pit together, but I would like to visit with some of the others here on Moparts.

Well, due to another annual vacation event that goes from the 12th through the 19th, I'd kind of written off MATS this year. Was thinking about doing the TNT at Famoso on the 24th to at least get the car out.
But, three hr tow to Famoso, 3 hr 45 min tow to Vegas....
I'm thinking now maybe we'll use the 24th to get ready for the other vacation, and hit MATS Thur-Sat, then head home
Sat night and leave for the other trip Sun morning...

Sounds good to me besides there a better choice of rooms and eats in Veags baby

not happy about it but with double weekend points races here at Infineon the same weekend it just makes economic sense also this year the wife has a new job that she really likes and doesn't want to take the time off just yet. I do know that there probably will be a pretty bas a$$ white Challenger there albeit looking a bit different coming down with it's new owner.
