Does anyone have some real world experience with this? I think I will be doing it this year, just because I want to run pump gas all the time. As it sits right now, I can cruise on pump gas, but I mix fuel when its time to whale on the thing.

A quick run down on what we are dealing with here:

Cast Iron W2's
13.3:1 compression
277/284 @ .050"
4.250" stroke
4.185" bore
6.3" rod.

I am sure just adding meth injection will allow me to run straight pump gas. But I guess I would like to hear what kind of power gains people have actually seen on an N/A deal. They claim huge numbers. I am kind of doubtful of the numbers though. If I don't make any extra HP I am fine with that too, but hey, it would be cool if there was something on the table!

If/When I go this route, I will be doing my own testing on our chassis dyno, and reporting back to add to the tech info out there. Thanks!

I would also love to hear actual real world experience with this.
I saw ti on Horsepower TV the other day and love the idea, they claimed quite a bit of power going from race gas on a chevy 572 to 93 octane, less timing and smaller jets, something like 30 HP IIRC.

I would love to do it, but I need to get my ride running again and get it tuned to a point where I would see a bene. from adding this.

not sure about running it on a NA car but i have used it on a turbo buick. It does a great job of contoling detonation. But the only way to make more power on an NA car would be to run more timming. The only problem i had with it was 1 time the pump stopped working during a pass and i blew the head gaskets. I was running 29 psi of boost. This was an older SMC kit. Alky itself doesnt make more power but allows you to run more compression and timming to make more power.
