barracuda hood Not sure if the above URL works, but this is in reference to the hood currently listed on ebay that was made from the original mold. I've never seen an original hood in person, but I would have thought that even a race hood would have had some bracing on the underside? Does anyone have any good photos of the underside of a real hood? How does it compare to this? Kramer Automotive sells what they advertise as 'perfect reproductions', but they are $1000, not $250. My concern would be that the center of the hood would 'collapse' due to the lack of bracing? Any thoughts or photos would be appreciated!!

I have a Kramer hood on my original 68 SS Dart, but I really haven't checked it too closely, I will take a look tomorrow! The hood on the link is being sold by Reed Koeppe, a member here that I bought my Dart from.

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.
