Frito, matic or stick?

Automatic, I did turn off the ABS with the key trick, and my cars shifts at 5800RPM with the auto stick. 101 has been my fastest MPH.

I've used the 'key trick' once. Didn't really have any room to test it. Did you heat the tires or drive around the water? I'm gonna be doing quite a bit of experimenting, it seems...

WOW! Some real promising numbers.

I have a 2012 RT 6SPEED 3.92 Gears with the 20" Wheels. With only a few thousand miles on it I haven't had the chance to get it to the track but I would be happy with a sub 14 second pass.

Unfortunetly you can't get a tune for the 2011 or 2012's yet. I plan on doing a K&N filter, Resonator Delete and maybe a FASTMAN throttle body mod.. That's about it until they crack the computer.

Anyone have X-Brand times? Mustang GT / Camaro SS ? I'm sure they are faster but curious none the less.

My 09 Challenger R/T Classic , auto, with the only mod being a CAI.... Best is around 13.76. Even still on the RSA's and stock computer.

The Indy Monster Mopar Show this weekend will be the first show that our HI-PO 5.7/ 6.1 coils will be available for retail. Muscle Motors, the first to dyno them, will have plenty in stock.

I really thought about getting a new Challenger. My buddy let me drive hit 2011 R.T. Very impressed. Good for you guys that are upgrading them.

I will be there this weekend if you wanna give my 09 R/T a try. Got some better tires last year. Haven't tried them out yet.

I'd love to get more into the suspension, lower, braced front, rear and underneath. Can't touch the engine really with that lifetime powertrain warranty....

Be careful with that. I was reading on Challengertalk.com that adding anything like a CAI throws off the computer and leans out the engine too much. Do some research first. The tuners for 2010 and down have a program for CAI and one without. Fyi.

I have a 2010 SRT 8 6-speed with a Predator, 180 stat,Mopar CAI and Corse cat back and just those mods woke it up abunch on the street.I have not had it to the track yet.I only put 300 miles on it all last year hope I can get it in the 12 the way it sits.

The new 2011 and 12 392's autos are running 12.3 and I know of acouple with some slight mods running in the 11.90 12 flat range and that with no tuning yet.

Sweet. The guys on Challengertalk.com seem to have the automatics down into the 13.30 range stock. Not a lot of 6-speed guys posting times, a lot are having trouble launching them. Either bog or spin. Pretty impressive numbers. 12's with some light mods before even getting into the engine.

mines a stock 5.7 6 speed and 3.73s. I got it in Nov just after my local track closed so I havent run it yet but it hangs with some friends cars that are in the low to mid 13s. The wheel hop with the stick shift is crazy and the clutch is so light compared to any classic musclecar, you really need to learn how to feather the clutch or youre gonna burn through some tires real quick.

Track opens next month so I will post some times, for better or for worse The local Challenger guys all seem to be in the mid 13s with stock 5.7 cars though

My car is equipped like yours. 18" wheels, Hemi, 6-speed. You have the cloth gut, too? I felt the wheel hop in my first week 'getting to know' my car. Actually, the black marks are still there to study, and you can see the breaks in contact. I've read a little and the stock Michelins(I still have them on) seem to hook a little better at the track than the RSA Goodyears. I'm looking forward to the track opening as well.

'12 R/T STP with the 20 in upgrade M/T and GoodYears.CAI and CatBack only mods and cant wait til the track opens.Impromptu launches so far have been sketchy at best for getting a good leave.Noticed some of the cars at the local dealership have Firestones rather than the GY F1's.Anyone have input on the Firestones?Mid to low 13s and I'll be happy.Wish there was a tune available.

Looks like there is a tune available, but you need to send in your factory ECM or PCM, whatever it is called now. Or get another and have it tuned. There is a guy that apparently got the factory software(former Chrysler employee) and can set up what you need.

I went 13.23 stock. 2010 SRT auto
The procharger makes it drive like it should. Only raced it one night and only two passes since the boost. Went 8.00 in the 1/8 with the traction controll on. Still spun some.

Mopar needs a factory supercharger on the SRT. There really dropping the ball

I went a 12.98 with just a tune and catback in my DY 2010 R/T auto on the stock RSA's last year.

I have since added a converter and drag radials and just last weekend, I went a best of 7.97@85.3 in the 1/8th with a freaking sweet 1.622 60ft.

I will get some mid 12's easily out of my R/T with nothing but a tune, catback, converter and sticky tires. It was turning lots of heads Sat...especially the mustang crowd.

The R/T's are way underestimated in my opinion....I like it.

You guys are knocking back some impressive times! I am itching to learn my car. 35 days...
Another guy at work had an '11 R/T. He talks a little too much smack about it (there is a CTS-V and a SVT Cobra in the parking lot every night).

1/8 MPH 79.50
1000 11.534
1/4 ET 13.752
1/4 MPH 101.39

2nd Pass
60 2.022
