I've got an '09 challenger that was a body in white car that was unfortunatly equipped with a sun roof. I want to change the roof skin to a hard top....but not sure how this panel ends or starts, other than at the front and rear window. It has two strips or rubber moulding going down the roof. I believe I need to remove these and what will I find underneath??? Spot welds or an adhesive bonding agent? Can I reuse the the mouldings when I,m done putting the new skin on?

Pretty sure the strips can be reused if they don't get damaged when you pull 'em. Even if they do get damaged, alot of racers are just smoothing that area out a bit, leaving the strips off off, and painting. They look good that way too.

After you pull the rubber strips you will find spot welds in the ditch. 6 or 8 welds per side.
the roof overlaps the body sides in the ditch.
