dogdays I Live Here D Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 16,376	Yeah, it's best to check the number. I bought a "rebuilt" MH 727 several years ago at a swap meet, it has the big universal joint on the back. Much later I asked about the numbers here and found it was a wimpy 383 transmission, I'm sure they just changed the tailshaft and did a stock rebuild on whatever was in there. My bad! R.
