Re-installing an original type exhaust back on my 70 T/A. Rear floor has been replaced and only has one provision for where the rubber muffler hanger mounts to the floor. Nothing on the other side. How are they originaly mounted? Was there another mounting bracket on the other side as well? Is it available to be welded to the floor?

Thanks

Thanks. Got that part. My question is, what does the "D-70" hanger bolt to? Directly to the floor or a bracket thats welded to the floor/
Thanks

Thanks Barry. You were my next person to contact. your picture shows two brackets/units/whatever, side by side. What does what? Which "bracket" does the rubber muffler hanger mount to and how does it mount?

Thanks

The left bracket in Barry's pictures is only on dual exhaust cars. It is a bolt in exhaust hanger. The bracket inside the car is a reinforcement for teh bracket not shown under the car. It looks similar to the one welded to the passenger side of the car that all cars had.

Maybe this answers your question. I hope it helps.

The other bracket pictured is for the bottom of the rear seat frame to attach to.
