I was searching dash restoration posts and found Dash Specialists in Medford Oregon referenced in an older post. Anyone use them recently (last couple years)? Was the work good? Reasonable price? I want to get the pad for Challenger restored.

Was that about $900 with shipping? What did Just Dashes quote you? Thanks for the info!

I had a friend who was coming my way bring it both ways, so I lucked out with the shipping, but Just Dashes was either 1,200 or 1,300 depending on how much they had to do to it plus shipping, and the wait time was several weeks...AND they just weren't all that friendly on the phone or in person when I went to their booth at Spring Fling. So overall, I just decided to look a little more. I was glad I did, Dean is the manager at Dash Specialists, he's a pretty nice guy. I don't think anyone who does this work is going to be cheap, but the customer service part tipped the scales for me and the price was better. If you want a pic of mine just let me know, happy to send you one of before and after. Also, there is another company in Washington who does this work, very nice folks, but don't know about their product...will try to find their info also....

I would be real interested to see and hear who is making the best and least expensive product also. I thought that the Carolina dashes in the 600-700 range were high. Also have not heard if they fixed any of their problem areas. Thanks

I called Dash Restorations USA. Nice guy, said they can't duplicate the stitching on the Challenger Dash. Cost is about $975. I also called The Mopar Shop they said their source does some of the best work he has seen. He didn't tell me who does them though. I have dealt with them alot over the years as he makes it to the mopar shows in the NW. http://www.themoparshop.com/shop/

Has anyone tried this pad from The Mopar Shop? I am very interested in pictures of one installed and how well it fits. At $675.00 if it's a good fit I'd buy one.
