I have a June 71 build 340 Auto Challenger and do not have the two supports that go between the trans and engine. Should I have these supports?
Thanks

yes you should have them , many people remove them the first time you have to do something under there that requires them to be removed and they end up under the bench or in the scrap bin . It's been a long time but I seem to remember having to remove one to change a starter in a smallblock A body, it didn't go back ...

Yes, it should have them, and on a 340, they should be the same parts as on any 318. 360 cars are not so clean cut. One side of the 360 is the same as 318/340 cars, but the other side (at least by 1974) changed and is very similar, but about 1" longer than 318-340 cars
