Hey guys little feedback needed.Im working on a 70 Challenger and we got the motor and trans in the other day.I was thinking of bolting up the trans to the motor and do the install as a unit.I have the engine tilter for the hoist but not sure if it can be installed this way.It looks a bit tight.Am I wasting my time? Thanks for the feedback Sam

The engine and tranny in my 72 Challenger fit in assembled with no issues at all. Make sure you take the tranny crossmember off and slip it in.

Engine tilters have always dug into the fire wall on a E body for me. I use a homemade carb lifting plate, have done it dozens of times with this plate including many big blocks and trannys. Built in 1978, trusted in 2012

It's the only way to put them back in. I took it out togeather and put it back in by myself, even took the hood off myself.
