I want to rebuild my steering column for my 70 Challenger. It is a floor shift column. I have been on line looking for parts. Year one carries some stuff but but I can't figure out which bushings and bearings to get. Part numbers would be helpful. Any other vendors out there for parts? Any tips for doing a rebuild? I have a shop manual as a guide.
Thanks

You need a parts book bad too. Look around on here i found a free download. There are a lot of bearnings ect on ebay but they usualy cost more than a parts outlet. Also if it's on ebay then someone else has it too.

Lower bushing looks like this
upper bearing if needed is still avail thru Mopar
Turn signal switch is still avail thru Mopar BUT it is a superseded swtich and is slightly different from original ( hazard switch knob is different)
Ignition switch went NS1 last year but it's avail thru the aftermkt

Thanks for the info and thanks CNXT and Alaskan TA for the guides.
Anyone have the part numbers? Is the lower bushing available from mopar too?
